Papers consist of correspondence, correspondence, unpublished and published writings, biographical information, and photographs documenting primarily her experiences, travel, and teaching with Mary A. C. Ely and Charlotte E. Ely in Bitlis, Erzerum, and Van (Turkey), 1895-1915. Includes correspondence and publications about the 1915 massacre of Armenians and her work with Ernest A. Yarrow, Clarence D. Ussher, Alexandra Tolstoy, and others to aid refugees.

Grace Higley Knapp papers

Group photographs are chiefly of Mount Holyoke students from 1851 to the present. These photographs include images of students in classrooms, laboratories, and residence halls, at dances, on dates and picnics, and engaged in other social or recreational activities. The unidentified individuals photographs consist almost entirely of formal portraits, probably of women associated with Mount Holyoke as students, faculty, or staff from the 1860s through the 1920s.

Harriette A. Wells Royce, 1827-1892, attended Mount Holyoke Female Seminary from 1845 to 1846. Her papers consist of journals, primarily noting her daily activities at Mount Holyoke and her life upon return to the family farm.

Hart-Lester Harris (Class of 1913) is an alumna of Smith College. The collection contains correspondence, diaries, news clippings, memorabilia and photographs describing the student life and Harris' perspectives. Topics range broadly from exams to professors, college and community social events, basketball and dramatics, cross-college events at Amherst College and Mount Holyoke, home life and trips to large cities, such as New York City and Boston.

Hart-Lester Harris papers

Lay, Helen Brainerd; Librarian. Mount Holyoke Female Seminary graduate, 1887. Papers consist of a collection of book-plates designed and engraved by her brother-in-law, Edwin Davis French. Other material consists of the work of Cleora Wheeler, Octave Uzanne, K. Nakata and Yumimaro Ohmori. The correspondence is between Helen Brainerd Lay, Mount Holyoke College librarians, book-plate engravers, and other collectors. Also contains some periodicals, catalogs, advertisements, and supplementary books.

Helen Brainerd Lay bookplate collection

The Helle collection of Plath family photographs was assembled by June Johnson Helle with additions from her mother, Martha Plath Johnson, and her aunt, Frieda Plath Heinrichs, who were sisters of Otto Emil Plath. The collection is comprised of photographs of Otto Emil Plath and his siblings, as well as his wife, Aurelia Schober Plath; their two children, Warren and Sylvia Plath; and their Schober relatives.

Helle collection of Plath family photographs

Travel journal and notebook belonging to James B. Sleigh, of Glasgow, Scotland. Contains account of trip from Jun 22-29th 1861 in Scottish mountains, as well as an accounting of costs from the trip and scraps of poetry. The narrative account describes includes train, boat, coach and foot travel from Loch Lommond to Ft. William, and to Oban. In addition, there is an account of walking up Ben Nevis.
