Group photographs are chiefly of Mount Holyoke students from 1851 to the present. These photographs include images of students in classrooms, laboratories, and residence halls, at dances, on dates and picnics, and engaged in other social or recreational activities. The unidentified individuals photographs consist almost entirely of formal portraits, probably of women associated with Mount Holyoke as students, faculty, or staff from the 1860s through the 1920s.
