Charlotte Edwards Allen Ward Papers

Montgomery, Charlotte Nichols, 1904-1994; journalist, columnist, author, consumer advocate. Papers date from 1912-1986 and consist of writings, speeches, correspondence, journals, diaries, research materials, publicity and press clippings, photographs, awards, scrapbooks, biographical materials, and ephemera which primarily document her professional life as a pioneering consumer advocate and columnist best known for the column "Speaker for the House" in Good Housekeeping magazine from 1955-1982.

Charlotte Nichols Montgomery Papers

Williams, Clara Catherine "Kate" Pond, 1831-1895; missionary and teacher. Mount Holyoke Female Seminary graduate, 1857. Mount Holyoke Female Seminary teacher, 1857-1864. Papers consist of correspondence, transcripts of journals, compositions, biographical information sheets, and a photograph album. The bulk of the collection consists of her journals (1865-1866 and 1871-1889) and letters to her classmate Jessie Usher.

Classes records document the undergraduate and post-graduate lives and activities of Mount Holyoke alumnae from the Class of 1838 to the present. Materials date from 1843 to the present and include correspondence, reports, minutes, class constitutions and by-laws, programs, dance cards, menus, songs, collections of letters by members of different classes, articles, scrapbooks, audiocassettes, sound recordings, video recordings, DVDs, slides, photographs, photograph albums, and objects such as props used in a Junior Show and costumes worn at reunions.
