Documents concerning the administration, program and development of YWCA of the U.S.A. associations in Santa Monica and Vallejo, California as well as documents concerning the development of associations in Stockton and Torrance. The administration and development of the associations is documented in basic standards reports, national certification documents, constitutions, and bylaws. Visitation reports for the associations are more narrative in nature and include program descriptions, reports of challenges and successes, and discussion of personnel and management need. Additional documents include general correspondence, pamphlets and reports. Correspondence and reports for Stockton concern a new organization while correspondence with Torrance address the status of existing YWCA work there. Documents are arranged alphabetically by community.
