Helen Flack's reports on the YWCA of India. Helen Flack is assigned to a special project sponsored by the World YWCA's mutual service program. The purpose of the first phase of the project is to develop leadership in the YWCA of India, strengthen their financial situation and develop plans for a national convention. After the convention the project extends to a second phase to support the implementation of the convention emphases. Ms. Flack's reports note the project's accomplishments and provide social, historical and political context to the development of association leadership and work. The reports include supporting documents illustrating the project impact and activity including articles from "Today," the magazine of the YWCA of India, conference notes, historical facts, the YWCA of India's peace statement and local association reports.
