Documents concerning the planning, preparations and proceedings of 1954 YWCA of the U.S.A. regional conferences. Regional conferences are an opportunity for delegates from local associations to gather together and discuss matters of national, regional and international importance in between national conventions. Conferences include addresses from leaders of the YWCA of the U.S.A. as well as prominent members of the community and visitors. Conference topics include role of the YWCA of the U.S.A. as a Christian movement, in the women's movement and in the community. Discussion and workgroups facilitate discussion of key topics among smaller groups of attendees allowing for individual input. Documents include conference reports and statistics, conference planning documents, summaries of addresses and discussion sessions, bulletins and programs. Documents are arranged by regional conference with an index to the materials at the beginning of each section.
