A scrapbook of Elizabeth Crocker Lawrence from 1880-1881, her first year at Smith College as a sophomore. It includes diary entries chronicling events and amusing anecdotes, articles, scripts for plays, poems, programs for concerts and events, notes for academic classes, bills, exam booklets, class schedules by term, cards, invitations, telegrams, ticket stubs, and various other ephemera for remembering events such as small pieces of fabric and pressed flowers. Events recorded in the scrapbook include Mountain Day, performance of plays by the Hubbard House (Tertium Quid), May Day, Ivy Day, Washington's birthday, and Commencement activities.
