Documents concerning the history, affiliation and program of the YWCA of Racine, Wisconsin and reports concerning rural work and the development of YWCA program in Rock County. The administrative and organizational history of the YWCA of Racine is documented in its constitutions, bylaws, fact sheets and historical notes. Visitation reports from field secretaries and industrial program reports are more narrative in nature and document the program, activities and overall performance of the association. Studies provide background and context to the work of the YWCA of Racine reporting on community needs, services and socio-economic factors. Additional documents include lists of staff and volunteer leaders, correspondence and reports concerning cooperation with the YMCA, a new building brochure, community chest reports, advisory correspondence with regional and national leaders and additional reports from the association. Rural work reports from Rock County, Wisconsin document to development and organization of work in the rural communities of Wisconsin with specific attention to Rock County. These reports include progress updates as well as summaries of the history of rural work in the area.
